Pursuant to the Texas Government Code, Chapter 551.001, the City Council of Mt. Enterprise, Texas will hold a regular meeting on February 23, 2010 at 7:30 p.m. at the Council Chamber of City Hall, 103 W. Gregg Street, Mt. Enterprise, Texas and will consider the following matter to wit:I. Announcements a. Call to Order b. Invocation c. Roll Call and Certification of a Quorum II. Visitors/Citizens Presentation The City of Mt. Enterprise welcomes public comment early in the agenda of regular meetings.Those wishing to speakduring the Visitors/Citizens Presentation portion of the meeting must sign in before the meeting begins. Speakers must observe a three-minute time limit at all times during the meeting, unless granted specific permission from the council to extend their comments. The Mayor and Council reserve the right to limit, table, or deny individual comment, if such comment is determined to potentially hinder the Council's ability to conduct city business during the councilmeeting. a. Consent Agenda All of the following items on the Consent Agenda are considered to be routine and self explanatory by the Council andwill be enacted with one motion. There will be no separate discussion of these items unless a Councilmember so requests. a. Approval of Minutes for the Regular Meeting of January 26 thb. Approval of monthly reports (January) for Court, Clerks, Police, Wastewater and Financials c. Sewer Update V. Regular Agenda a. Discussion and Consideration of Trash Pickup Services to be a permanent incentive for serving the seat of Council (GLH) b. Discussion and Consideration of Hwy 84 and 2 nd Street to repair and fix standing water problems (BSJ)c. Discussion and Approval of Ordinance #2010-0223-2 Franchise for Trash Pick-Up (HLG) d. Discussion and Approval of City Secretary Job Description #2010-0223-1 (RJBR) e. Discussion and Approval of TMRS Municipal monthly contribution rate of 5.34% (HLG) f. Discussion and Approval of Texas Cooperative Purchasing Program (RJBR) g. Discussion and Approval of Traylor & Associates Resolution designates 3 persons to be authorized to sign the forms to draw funds (HLG) h. Discussion and Approval of accepting shed as donation from Mr. Langston (JDF) i. Tabled Item: Discussion and Approval of City Contract and Ordinance for Trash (HLG)j. Discussion and Consideration of Reinvestment Zone and Property Tax Abatement for John R. Rudisill (RJBR) k. Discussion and Consideration of Sewer Rates for Churches (RJBR) VI. Convene into Executive Session a. Discussion and Consideration of VII. Reconvene into Regular Session and Consider Action, If Any, On Items Discussed During Executive Session VIII. Discussion Items IX. Adjourn

The Mount enterprise City Hall and Council Chambers are wheelchair accessible. The entry ramp is located in the front of the building. Accessible parking spaces are also available in that area.
