Meeting Minutes City of Mt. Enterprise
September 18, 2007
I. Announcements The City Council of Mt. Enterprise, Texas, convened in a special called meeting on Tuesday, September 18th, 2007 in the Council Chambers of City Hall, 103 W. Gregg Street, Mt. Enterprise, Texas.
Councilmember Odom called the Council Meeting to order at 7:10 p.m.
Council Present: Councilmember’s Gayle Hearn, Johnny Fryman, Debra Odom, Councilmember Mills arrived at 7:17 p.m. Mayor Harvey Graves arrived at 7:55 p.m.
Council Absent: Councilmember Brandon Jones
City Employee’s Present: City Secretary Rosena J. Becker-Ross

Mayor Graves gave the Invocation
II. Regular Agenda – Moved Item a to the end of the agenda
a. Discussion and Approval of moving Regular Council Meetings to Tuesday nights (HLG)
MOTION: to approve moving our Regular monthly Council Meetings to the 4th Tuesday night at 7:30 p.m.
Motion/Second: Councilmember Hearn / Councilmember Mills
Motion carried by a vote of: AYES: 4 NOES: 0
b. Discussion and Consideration of Interviewing the following for the Deputy Clerk’s position (RJBR) Gloria Wyvill (No Show) Patricia Everitt Wendy Boatman Medina Weatherly Amy Marion (Withdrew moving to N. Carolina) Kristen Innerarity
MOTION: to recess until Mr. Harvey arrives, Councilmember Hearn made a motion to go back into session, 2nd by Councilmember Odom / to postpone until the Regular Meeting on September 25th, 2007 giving Mayor Harvey Graves and Mayor Pro-Tem Jones time to review the interviews.
Motion/Second: Councilmember Odom / Councilmember Fryman
Motion carried by a vote of: AYES: 4 NOES: 0
III. Discussion Items
IV. Reconvene into Regular Session and Consider Action, If Any, On Items Discussed During Executive Session
V. Mayor Graves adjourned the meeting at 8:15 p.m. without objection.
